Zaldo is smitten by his very alluring neighbor Chona. Unfortunately, Chona is unimpressed because Zaldo is a jeepney driver. Zaldo meets Ester. Kind, hardworking, and sweet, Ester owns the roadside restaurant that Zaldo frequents. It doesnt take long for the friendship between Zaldo and Ester develop into something more. Ester gives in to Zaldo's advances and the two eventually marry.
