Tetchie Agbayani was a runnerup for Mutya ng Pilipinas 1979 (Beauty Pageant). She was a Playboy model. She appeared in a regular issue of German Playboy and a special American edition entitled "Women of the World". And did a couple of films in Hollywood and Australia. She was one sex-siren during this era. And she was also doing local movies including this one. Babae, was more of a drama film with a touch of Tetchie's sexiness and alluring appeal. Yes, she was topless but not enough and we are craving for more which this movie doesn't have. Still a recommended film for keeps. And it's not easy now to find anymore copies, so good luck finding one.

Most of the juicy parts were removed even the in the vcd release.  Could have been an awesome topless scenes for Carmi Martin and Angela Perez, but they gave us a censored copy. Those bastards! We will never find out if there were uncensored copies out there.

"Close But No Cigar"! That's what's up with the nudity in this film. Sharmaine Suarez was nude but strategically not exposing her nipples. Mostly sideboobs. There was one scene that her white top was wet and you will see a glimpse of her nipple. But there are a couple of sexy scenes and because Sharmaine has a huge knockers, you will surely enjoy it.

Bad. This movie is rated.. BAD! This was Sophia Laurel's first and last film and nudity. Not so much here, even the shower scene doesn't give you shit. I think she has this 1 second topless scene. That's the selling factor of this film. Anyway, Skip this one or don't even bother.

The story tells of an obedient daughter who, out of necessity, must do something to save the life of her ailing mother. When a director spotted her kibitzing around his shooting set, he immediately signed her into his next picture. Love blossoms between them as she slowly scaled her way up on the rungs of stardom.
