NUDITY REVIEW: Sugo Ng Tondo 2000

Tondo was shocked to learn that their hero is eliminated. Rigor, an upright policeman who has been instrumental in clearing Tondo if crimes and narco was allegedly shot and thrown in the river by some crooks who are probably seeking revenge. Soon after, Tondo returns to its old self chaotic, crime prone and narcos polluted. But Rigor shows up again, this time in another identity as Sugo ng Tondo because he continues to fight crime the way he used to. Later, people begin to suspect the resemblance between Rigor and their new hero leading them to conclude that Rigor did not disappeared after all. Yet, another Sugo shows up and does destructive actions demolishing the reputation of the real Sugo ng Tondo. Now Rigor would have to come out in the open and defend himself to protect the image he took so long to keep.

Dario (Ace Espinosa) rescues a powerful syndicate head, Don Manolo (Eddie Gutierrez), from an assassination attempt. He works for him as a body guard and becomes quite close with the Don's family. There is Brando (Ramon Christopher), Don Manolo's son. Brando wants to inherit his father's business but the Don finds him hotheaded and irresponsible. He favors his grandson Carlo (Brian Furlow),a martial experts, instead. Carlo feels unwanted by his mother Sonia (Sylvia Sanchez), the Don's daughter. Meanwhile, Carlo discovers the Don's business in narco and he tries to quit. He wants to concentrate on his search for a long lost half brother. It turns out that masked men has previously eliminated his father and stepmother and has captured his half-brother.

Two brothers are separated after their mother passed. One becomes a cop, the other as assassin. The cop ambitiously want to bring down a druglord supported by politicans, while the assassin works for the same druglord. A cult leader who turns out to be their estranged father is supporting the druglord. Both brothers are out to bring down the cult leader -- one to save lives and solve criminality, the other is out for revenge for their mother.

Anyway, Nudity from Maye Tongco, Not much compared to her previous works.  Ariane Espino was introduced in this film. Sadly her first and last.
